Darlington Credit Union’s 2025–26 Impact Report showcases how we continue to strengthen financial wellbeing across our communities through ethical savings, affordable borrowing, and practical support. As a not-for-profit co-operative, we now support more than 6,400 active members across the North East and North Yorkshire, helping people build resilience in challenging economic times.
This year’s report highlights the real difference our work is making - from £1.27 million lent through 1,443 approved loans to £3.7 million held in member savings, alongside initiatives such as our payroll savings partnerships, Save As You Borrow model, and wider community outreach programmes designed to improve long-term financial stability.
