Important update on deposit protection

We’re pleased to inform our members that the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) deposit protection limit for banks, building societies and credit unions is rising to £120,000 from 1 December 2025.

This means that your deposits with Darlington Credit Union will be covered up to that new limit in the unlikely event of a failure of the credit union.
